Members of the “Texas Bowties” Car Club met at Pico De Gallo near downtown and chowed down on breakfast tacos and the local breakfast plates while engaging in casual conversation. About the time the talk was getting good we had to hit the road so we could make it to the event on time in order to get the best parking spots. After getting the cars fired up, we negotiated the crowded downtown streets eventually making our way to N. Main just down the street from Alamo Music. After lining our cars up, we wasted no time pulling out the coolers and setting up the chairs under the covered sidewalk that would shelter us from the summer sun. Enjoying beverages from the cooler, much conversation, and viewing the cool cars and trucks, pretty summed up the rest of the day with a live band playing throughout.
