Some members of "Texas Bowties" Car Club met up at one of the members house and made our way to the Lonestar Roundup in Austin, TX. As we began out trip to the show we made our way through fog and drizzle but as we neared Austin the weather turned to partly cloudy and with a breeze. We parked close to entrance and quickly made our way into the fairgrounds it was apparent that the weather did not stop the 500+ cars from participating in the event and the 1000+ people coming out to see the show. In addition to the cars - there was plenty of food, live music, vendors from all over the U.S. and a large swap meet. We spent over six hours of taking in the cars, trucks and people and finally decided to make our way home after our feet and energy ran out. Turned out to be a great time and would recommend it to anyone that appricates 1963 and earlier traditionally- styled american hot rods and custom cars.
