Vintage Air Open House - May 2015
Weather and other events changed the plans of a few members that were going to attend one of the two shows scheduled for the day. Interest in the Bexar County Citizens On Patrol car show fizzled down to one and one-half dedicated members and with gray skies and a sprinkle of rain the decision was made not to attend. Members planning to attend the Vintage Air Open House met for breakfast, fetched their cars and made their way to the show only to get parked out in the cul de sac . A couple of the members made their way to the show with their cars and after taking care of other things at home, while some did not bring their cars because there were rain clouds within a 50 mile radius of San Antonio. With the exception of some different cars in attendance, it was the same old free hotdogs and drinks, a live band, and nitro funny cars. The weather for the afternoon was mostly cloudy with humidy in the 90's which made for a sticky day.
