Members of “Texas Bowties” Car Club met up at Los Generales in San Antonio where we gorged on breakfast tacos, chilaquiles verdes, huevos rancheros and chorizo and eggs. After having our fill of breakfast we deciphered our bill and jumped in our cars and headed just a few miles down the road to the Vintage Air Facility. Arriving before most of the crowd, we got great spots in the middle of the parking lot and quickly secured a seating spot in the grass under the lone tree at the facility. Throughout the day we viewed the many cars and trucks in attendance, enjoyed beverages from the cooler, free hot dogs, and don’t forget the running of the Nitro Funny Cars.
